Barbara Lumby

Barb has been playing netball for over 40 years and coaching for over 30 years. During her long netball career Barb has played in and coached Premiership teams. At clubs in Tarwin Lower, Koo Wee Rup, Poowong and Drouin she has coach U11’s though to A & B Seniors and interleague teams.

Mia Caile

Mia comes from a passionate Phillip Island netball family and was introduced to the sport from an early age. She brings that same passion to her coaching and is known for her positive energy, care for players, and her ability to make training both fun and focused. Mia creates an environment where young players feel safe to grow, make mistakes, and fall in love with netball just as she did. Mia is a C grade badged umpire. She will continue her sport and netball journey in 2026 at SEDA College Netball Development Program – a program that focuses on elite coaching, athlete development, and leadership. From mentoring young players to umpiring and developing her own leadership skills, Mia is committed, grounded, and having a positive impact at BCTNC with her strong roots in netball and a clear vision for the future.

Keely Stephens

With 10 years of playing experience, Keely has developed a great understanding of netball, both on and off the court. Transitioning into coaching, she brings a passion for skill development, and a strong focus on teamwork. She’s dedicated to fostering player growth and building successful teams.

Leticia Phillips

Leticia is a former Victorian representative and Maroondah Netball League player. She has transitioned her skills to coaching, where she works with our junior players and teams. With over 20 years of netball experience, Leticia is dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential. She takes pride in fostering a positive and supportive team environment to nurture a passion for netball in every player.

Natalie Biviano

Natalie is a passionate Under 11s netball coach who loves helping young players grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork. With a focus on fun, fair play, and foundational technique, creating a supportive and engaging environment where every child feels included and encouraged to shine. Whether it’s mastering footwork, learning to pass under pressure, or celebrating small wins, Natalie brings positive playful energy and a love for the game to every training session.

Kimberley Stephens

Kim is a passionate netball coach with experience as a player for Boronia and Ferntree Gully Netball Clubs in the Mountain District Netball Association. She has worked with GippSport to support Rock Up Netball, promoting accessible, casual participation in the sport. Kimberley has coached NetSetGO for children aged 4–10, focusing on foundational skills and fun. After five years managing her children’s teams, she has returned to coaching junior netball to continue developing young players in a positive and supportive environment.

Laura McCabe

Laura has been playing netball for 30 years and has enjoyed the transition to coaching in 2025. Laura loves teaching the fundamentals of netball-building skills, confidence and passion for the game. With a big focus on fun, encouragement and teamwork, Laura creates a coaching environment where players feel supported and excited to grow as netballers.
